Florida is known as a family holiday destination, however, it's great for couples and singles alike.  Everyone thinks of Orlando and the theme parks which are oodles of fun, however, there is much more to explore. Beaches galore and they are all stunning. Florida has the most amazing golf courses and can boast that the state has more than any other US state.  Check out the outlets for some bargains before immersing yourself in foodie heaven, watch out though the portions are Big!

Miami visit the art deco buildings of South Beach, sit on the endless beach and then take in the bright nightlife whilst sipping on cocktails. Go and visit the Everglades National Park and take an airboat tour amongst the alligators. Have you thought about Miami and The Bahamas for a great mix of city and relaxing on picture-perfect beaches?

The Florida Keys the view from the 7-mile bridge is amazing. Stop off at one of the Keys en route to Key West such as  Duck Key with its amazing all-year-round outside living and fabulous fishing opportunities, before heading down to Key West with its amazing waterfront and spectacular sunsets. Take a boat trip to see the Dolphin Pods or some do some deep-sea fishing.

Fort Lauderdale is known as the Venice of Florida with its amazing waterways allowing you to wander along the Riverwalk promenade. Dine al fresco at one of the many eateries and perhaps enjoy the catch of the day.

Visit the Gulf Coast and take in Clearwater or St Pete’s Beach with their stunning powder-soft white sand and exquisite turquoise ocean. Wander along the beachside promenades, take to the water and enjoy the watersports on offer and then head to Pier 60 to take in the atmosphere listening to the musicians and watch the artists as the sunsets.

Hire a car and drive around yourself you will not regret it.
